With a foundation built at the Asia Pacific Massage Institute, Kai is a licensed massage therapist and instructor in Texas. He brings a dynamic blend of clinical expertise and a personal touch to his work, guiding clients to take an active role in their own healing journey.

When he's not on campus, Kai stays connected to his community by volunteering with Open Gate Homeless Ministries. He also finds joy in cooking, traveling, writing, and collecting rocks.

Mobility Clinics

This year, dedicate time to care for your body! As we progress in life, poor movement patterns, injury, and stationary positions cause our fascia and connective tissues to change and shorten, often resulting in painful or restricted movement. Not only can this create discomfort in the body, it can also decrease our activity level and hamper our ability to live a full, adventurous life.

The Rice Fitness and Wellness Program will host a series of mobility clinics targeting the most commonly impaired joints. Each clinic will include a combination of stretching, foam rolling, and stability work, all designed to promote better movement and improved functional range of motion. Participants are free to register for one or take them all! Expect this class to “hurt so good” as you roll, release, smash, and stretch your way to true functional improvement.

Stay tuned for upcoming clinic dates.

Late Policy / Cancellation Policy

All participants are responsible for arriving in a timely manner to their sessions. It is required by policy for the individual conducting the assessment to wait 15 minutes beyond the scheduled start time before the lesson is forfeited. If a client's session begins late due to the person’s late arrival, the staff member continues with the session and ends at the scheduled time.

Except in the event of an emergency, a minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellation. Failure to cancel within 24 hours or failure to show up for a session will result in a forfeit of the session. Exceptions will only be made in the case of a medical emergency accompanied by a doctor's note.
