S.W.E.A.T. Classes

Our S.W.E.A.T. (Scheduled Weekly Exercise and Activity Times) program offers a variety of fitness classes to motivate you through your week! We offer cardio, strength, and core classes to improve your personal fitness. This Fall 2021 we are excited to bring many of our S.W.E.A.T. classes back into person, and are now offering in-person, online, and hybrid classes. Hybrid classes can be experienced at the gym or at home.

If you currently obtain a Rec Center membership, all below S.W.E.A.T. classes are included in your membership.

S.W.E.A.T. Class Descriptions

Total Activation (VIRTUAL)
Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. with Christoph W.

Start your day with total activation of body and mind. This total body workout emphasizes building a strong core and body-mind focus and incorporates cardio drills, strength training, balance and flexibility exercise. What set's this class apart? Intention. Awareness. Goal-Oriented Growth. You may join anytime, but this summer course has been designed progressively and will incorporate regular assessments. Consistent attendance is recommended for the best results, and the instructor requests cameras remain on during class.

Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:15 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. with Chris J.

Feel the burn with this total body workout. Each class will target all your major muscle groups, challenge you to the last rep, and leave you begging for more.

Owl Pump (HYBRID)
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. with Chris J.
This strength and conditioning class works all major muscle groups. Exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls will strengthen and tone your entire body faster than your average weight-routine!

Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. - 6:25 p.m. with Renee K. and Mondays from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. with Sandye F.
A fusion of Latin, International and popular music/dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system!

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12:15 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. with Dawn S.
Mondays from 5:30 - 6:25 pm with Oliver S.
Wednesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 pm or Fridays from 8:00 - 8:50 am with Sylvia D.

Get your week going with a ride that will get you in “the zone!” This class will challenge your strength and endurance on the bike with interval drills to awesome music! Build cardiovascular strength and endurance with these classes designed for all levels.

Fridays from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. with Sandye F.
Barre is a workout that incorporates yoga, Pilates, strength training and ballet. This class includes specific sequencing patterns and isometric movements to help shape and tone certain muscle groups. Improve your strength, balance, flexibility and posture and feel better about your weekend!

If you are interested in continuing in a hybrid or virtual format, please make sure you Register Here to receive zoom links for the Fall semester class.

Once your registration request is approved, please SAVE the Zoom Registration Link email to access hybrid or virtual S.W.E.A.T. classes.

If you have previously registered, and received an email with registration approval, you may continue to use those links, assuming you are either a Rec member or purchased an all access pass.
