Locker Rentals

All locker rentals are handled primarily at the Operations Desk and available on first come, first serve basis. Members must pay rental fees BEFORE taking possession of a locker. Select a locker from the binder, either half or full size, within the rental section, and make cash or check payments at the Operations Desk. (Contact information is collected during this process. If any of your information happens to change, please notify the Operations Desk staff.) Check purchases require both driver’s license and telephone number. Credit card payments can be made at the Admin Office Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Members making payments in person with credit cards must take a locker rental card upstairs to the Admin Office to complete the rental. Locker rental expiration notifications are emailed out three weeks prior to the end date.

Fall locker rentals will expire on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at closing. Those interested in keeping their present locker must pay renewal fees by December 23, 2017 and have a current membership. Switching and/or upgrading lockers will not be possible until Wednesday, January 3, 2018 if at all. It will solely depend on how many present locker renters retain their lockers for the Spring semester.

If not renewing your rental, please remove all personal belongings and the lock from your assigned locker prior to December 23, 2017. If you are unable to come by the Recreation Center, please contact someone who can collect your items. All remaining articles will be considered a donation to Houston area charities, as we do not store any items left beyond 30 days.

Unclaimed lockers will be made available to all those interested beginning Wednesday, January 3, 2018 on a first come, first serve basis. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact D'Ondra McGee at 713-348-5765 or at

Rental Information

The applicant must furnish their own lock. Only one locker will be available per applicant. The applicant is responsible for any damage to the interior of the locker. Any problems with the locker must be reported to the Operations Desk. Lockers are intended for the use of one individual – sharing of lockers is not permitted. Annual rentals include the summer session. Lockers will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. The Recreation Center Department and staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Items left in lockers after the rental dates have expired will be removed and discarded after 30 days. Annual rentals are not available after December. They will be per semester only. Members are notified by email three weeks prior to the expiration date of the locker rental. Any lock on lockers in the rental section without payment will be cut and contents cleared out of locker. Locker renewals can be done at the Admin Office in person with a credit card, or by calling 713-348-4058 to pay over the phone.

Day Lockers

Members, who do not rent a locker and guest of the Recreation Center, have two options (Manual Master lockers and Day lockers) of places to store their personal items while using the facility. However, these areas are not designated for overnight usage and must be cleared out at the end of the day. Manual Master lockers are located throughout the Recreation Center. Day lockers are available in the locker rooms that require members to provide their own lock
