Ash Lauderdale decided to expand her horizons by transitioning to the world of health and fitness after teaching high school Spanish for ten years. Everyone deserves to feel good, and making people happy makes her happy, so it seemed like a logical path to take. The way she sees it, each day presents a new opportunity to be the best version of ourselves and to improve upon whoever we were yesterday. Fitness allows us a step in the right direction on a daily basis.
With these principles in mind, she became certified as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). As someone who is consistently intrigued, curious, passionate, and inspired by all that the human mind and body can do, she constantly explores new forms of physical expression including yoga, belly dancing, boot camps, acro-yoga, and aerial arts. Each experience gives us something new and exciting to add to our repertoire.
Ash loves working with people from all walks of life. Whether you’re a “rookie” when it comes to fitness, or a seasoned athlete, she is excited to share her experience and knowledge of exercise, nutrition, and general wellness to make you your stronger, better, faster self. Giving each individual client the attention they deserve is important to her regardless of where they fall on the fitness timeline. Believe that you can do it, and you will. And remember, getting fit isn't a chore, it's a joy, and your body will thank you for it. :)
One last note: don’t eat too much candy, as it is clinically proven to be quite bad for you. However, if you find yourself in a situation that leaves you no other choice than to take a candy that is being offered to you—always take the red one. Based on my extensive research, red is always the tastiest flavored color when it comes to candy. Caveat: NEVER take candy from strangers.
