The Recreation Department sponsors many one-time special events throughout the year. These events provide opportunities for members of the Rice community to come together and try out some unique and exciting recreational activities. Some examples of past Special Events are: Ship Rec'd, Flying Owls 5K, Buffalo Battle Adventure Race and National Sport and Fitness Day.
Welcome Back Bash

Owl Golf Tournament
Come join us every fall at the Clear Creek Golf Course and show off your skills. This 4-Person scramble will have plenty of prizes, snacks, and, of course, fun!
