Administration Office
We are currently looking to hire a student membership assistant that has availability Monday through Friday - hours are flexible. This position is expected to facilitate the sale of memberships, including handling payments, customer service and logging payments with the full-time office assistant. Aquatic Program
The Aquatics program is always interested in hiring quality Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors. We are looking for Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors with current American Red Cross certification. If you are not certified we encourage you to sign up for one of our certification courses or seek out local places that offer the certification. There are two Facility Attendant positions available: Operations Assistants and Facility Managers. As an entry level position, the Operations Assistants supervises the facility and daily operations of the Recreation Center. Working primarily behind the Operations Desk, Operations Assistants provide patrons with equipment, towels, fitness passes, program information, etc. and handle customer requests for racquetball and squash courts as well as assisting with locker rentals. Operations Assistants are also responsible for enforcing the policies and procedures of the department and control access to the entire facility. Facility Managers, a second level position earned through promotion by showing responsibility, initiative and dedication while working as an Operations Assistant, are responsible for all of the above, and must roam the facility and assist patrons with set ups for scheduled events and supervise Operations Assistants on duty. Facility Managers lead student staff trainings and new student staff trainings sessions.  Both positions require attendance to all mandatory meetings and CPR and First Aid certifications.
